2 hours
Class Details & Information
Do you know what to expect from your mind and body during a high stress event? In this two-hour seminar we will discuss the physiological and psychological effects on your body and mind during and after a deadly conflict. We will discuss several topics including, the hormonal effects on your physiology, how conditions white through black affect your body, perceptual distortions during the encounter, memory loss, time warps, survivor’s guilt, PTSD, and simple calming techniques. Knowing how and why your mind and body react the way that they do during a critically stressful event can make the difference in not only in surviving the conflict, but in continuing to live a happy and healthy life after it is over.
